KV AFS Racing's Sebastian Saavedra returns to oval racing after a long weekend on the streets of Houston. In Race 1 he was looking to secure a top-five finish but with five laps to go was punted in the rear, causing him to spin and end up 15th. A mechanical issue before the start of Race 2 resulted in him joining the race six laps down and only able to move through the field when other drivers crashed out. Saavedra sits 21st in the standings with 166 points.
