Career
2006
·Finished sixth in second season in the Indy
Pro Series driving for Andretti Green Racing.
·Recorded his third career victory at Milwaukee,
passing for the lead with two laps to go.
·Established an Indy Pro Series record by qualifying
in the top 10 in 18 consecutive races. The streak
ended in the Liberty Challenge on the road course
at Indianapolis.
·Passed IndyCar Series rookie test in June
at Nashville Superspeedway.
2005
·Finished fifth as a rookie in the Indy Pro
Series, competing for Sam Schmidt Motorsports.
·Recorded two victories, including the Futaba
Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Also
won at Nashville.
·Captured pole positions at Indianapolis, Nashville
and Milwaukee.
2004
·Competed in South American Formula 3 with
Avallone Motorsports, recording a best finish of fourth
in Argentina.
2003
·Competed in South American Formula 3, advancing
to the “A” class.
2002
·Made open-wheel racing debut, participating
in a limited schedule in South American Formula 3
“B” class.
2001
·Raced light prototypes in Formula Millenium,
earning the runner-up position in the state championships.
2000
·Recorded one victory and three second-place
finishes in first full season racing karts in the
Goias state championships.
1993-99
·Raced karts periodically while attending school
and training to become a helicopter pilot.
·Finished second in Goias state championships
in 1997.
1992
·Began racing karts, finishing fourth at Goias
state championships.
